The database offered in this web has two main sources.

• The first is gathering of distribution data in the different bibliographical references available. Some of them are questionable, but the remain unchanged if no data has been found in other references changing the ID or the specimens have not been seen.
• The second main source is the collections visited by members that want to share his data to our myrmecological world. Several collections are being studied, and the data are offered here. These include different personal collections (Kiko Gómez, Xavier Espadaler, Federico García) or Museum collections visited by us (Museo de Ciencias Naturales de Madrid, Museo de Ciencias de Barcelona, Colección de la Universidad Complutense de Madrid, etc...)
