The invasive species Linepithema humile (the argentine ant) is the one cited for the Iberian Peninsula. Two other especies have been cited as indoor pests in Europe: Linepithema iniquum and Linepithema leucomelas, but their presence has not been reported by now in the Iberian Peninsula.
